Complete Closing Enterprise (CCE)
6.1 offers great advances in capability and functionality. Here are
just a few of the new features and benefits this release
provides:
- New Credit Memo Functionality. Users now have the ability to issue full or partial credit memos for previously created invoices. This feature further streamlines the escrow process and gives users increased efficiency, allowing them to view and print these credit memos as needed. Additionally, as part of this improvement in functionality, authorized users gain the ability to override the default Payee on the Invoices screen.
- Additional Paid Outside of Closing Notations on HUD. CCE Users’ current ability to mark “Paid Outside of Closing” (POC) on the HUD has been extended to include lines 1201, 1202 and 1203, increasing accuracy and helping ensure proper disclosure.
- Extended Provisions for Issuing Receipts. Users can now issue a receipt for deposits made with any type of funds through Complete Closing. In the past, this could only be done with cash deposits, and any other type of deposit required manually issuing a receipt. This function increases accuracy and efficiency since users do not have to perform this function outside of Complete Closing. This feature will prove especially beneficial for title companies in states that require sequentially numbered receipts for each deposit made by the title company.
- Default Starting Balances for Reconciliation. Reconciliations will now be more efficient because of this new feature that automatically populates the beginning balance form the previous month’s ending balance. Because users do not have to enter this data any longer, chances for data entry errors are significantly reduced.
