WebCloser Provides Money Saving Alternative
for Minnesota Based Land Title Company
Title Protection, Inc., a Minnesota based land title company, is using cutting
edge internet technology and cutting costs at the same time, thanks to RamQuest
Software. Title Protection has a total of five offices in the twin cities
area of Minnesota. Before Webcloser was introduced, these five offices were
operating as separate entities. Every office had its own database, and its

They considered implementing a WAN with dial up networking or IDSN. The

long distance areas. Since these technologies use phone lines as their
medium, every computer communication between offices would result in a
long distance charge. Title Protection also considered a T-1 line for
their WAN. The extreme high cost of this service quickly eliminated this
as an alternative. Another possible solution for Title Protection was

location, and can easily communicate between sites. Instead of an expensive
T-1 or long distance charges, Webcloser uses cutting edge Internet technology
to transmit information. An Internet connection was the only service the
Title Protection needed in order to use Webcloser. Title Protection found
that this solution fit their organizational needs very well.
Since Webcloser was implemented at Title Protection, its users have been
able to share information with ease and are continuing to save money.
All five locations are now operating as one company just as they had hoped.
